Sponsor a Horse

Thankyou for your enquiry regarding a Horse Welfare Inc rescue horse. We really appreciate your commitment to supporting these horses in need. As you are aware this is not an easy task and can require considerable input of time, effort and expense. You can help by donating your time, services or money (any little bit can help). Alternatively you could adopt your own rescue horse. Should you decide to do this there are several costs you should be aware of. For your reference and to enable you to budget appropriately the associated costs you may incur are:

Sponsoring a Horse
One off Sponsorship fee - $20
Annual Membership - $50
Buy a bale of hay - $15

Other Costs - Ongoing - Assistance appreciated
Weekly feed costs where hand feeding is required - $50
Dental (annually) $100
Farrier bi monthly - $20 - $100
Worming bi monthly - $10 - $20

Horses that have been broken in or re-educated during this process will be costed differently.

Horse ownership is a huge responsibility and can be costly. We realize that this may impact your decision.
