HWI - Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation

Horse Welfare Inc has been involved in the rescue and rehabilitation of horses since 1992. Formalisation of the group in 2009 led to ATO approval as a Deductible Gift Recipient and Tax Concession Charity. We have also obtained OLGR approval to perform charity fundraisers. Through the development of this site we aim to raise the awareness of the plight of horses in need in this country. 
 

We are currently looking for an arena roof, stable block or old farm shed. We are also happy to pull down and remove from your property. A horse/cattle truck and relocatable panels are also high on the priority list. If you can help please contact us info@horsewelfare.com.au.

We operate out of the Hunter Valley in NSW. However, our locations page is ever growing and will link you to groups doing Horse Rescue in your area. You can help these people by:

• Reporting a horse in need
• Volunteering your services
• Becoming a Member
• Donating funds or much needed equipment
• Organising a fundraiser in your area
• Adopting or sponsoring a horse
